Parker was born and raised in Alabama in a Christian home. He gave his life to Jesus as a child and surrendered to a call to vocational ministry in high school. He then obtained Masters of Divinity degree from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University, and studied at the Faculté Libre de Théologie Évangelique in Vaux-sur-Seine. He is a current Doctor of Ministry student at Gateway Seminary.

He served as a church planter with the International Mission Board in Paris from 2008-2011, helping to establish a Punjabi-speaking Indian church in the area and providing training for churches in evangelism. After his journeyman term was finished, he joined the staff at Emmanuel International Church in 2012 to work with youth and young adults.

In July 2015 he was called to serve as Senior Pastor.

He met his wife Kyrah at EIC and they were married in 2016. Kyrah moved to Paris in 2014 from the Philippines. She has worked in the business world and recently finished her International MBA in Paris. Kyrah serves the church by leading discipleship groups. They have a daughter, Lily Amber.
