Parker was born and raised in Alabama in a Christian home. He gave his life to Jesus as a child and surrendered to a call to vocational ministry in high school. He graduated from the University of Mobile with a degree in Religion. He then obtained Masters of Divinity degree from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University, and will soon complete a Master de Recherche from the Faculté Libre de Théologie Évangelique in Vaux-sur-Seine focused on Historical Theology.
Parker served in youth, college, and camp ministries before turning to overseas work.
He served as a church planter with the International Mission Board in Paris from 2008-2011, helping to establish a Punjabi-speaking Indian church in the area and providing training for churches in evangelism. After his journeyman term was finished, he joined the staff at Emmanuel International Church in 2012 to work with youth and young adults.
In July 2015 he was called to serve as Senior Pastor.
He met his wife Kyrah at EIC and they were married in 2016. Kyrah moved to Paris in 2014 from the Philippines. She has worked in the business world and recently finished her International MBA in Paris. Kyrah serves the church by leading discipleship groups.
